Why I Uninstalled 5 Apps After Using Just One AI Tool

I’m the kind of person who always had 100 apps on my phone — one for notes, one for reminders, another for goals, one more for ideas, and don’t even get me started on my to-do list apps.It was too much. My phone felt cluttered. And honestly, I was still forgetting stuff. Then I randomly tried Notion AI — and everything changed.

📲 One App That Replaced Five

I’m not hyping it up. Notion AI literally replaced all these apps for me:

  • 🗒️ Note App

  • ✅ To-Do List

  • 📅 Calendar/Planner

  • 📓 Idea Saver

  • 📋 Task Reminder

Now I just open Notion, and I have everything in one place — with AI helping me organize it better than I ever could.

🧠 How It Actually Works

I’m not a tech geek, so I’ll explain it simply.

You open a page in Notion and just type stuff like:

  • > “Create my study schedule for tomorrow”
  • “Make a grocery list”
  • “Summarize this article”
  • “Write Instagram caption ideas for my blog”

And boom — it does it. Automatically. Like magic, but smarter.

🧹 The Clean-Up

After 2 weeks of using it, I realised something wild — I hadn’t opened my other apps even once. So I just deleted them:

Bye-bye random checklist app

No more sticky notes app

Calendar? Gone.

Reminder app? See ya.

That idea-saving app I never organized? Deleted. It felt so good. Like digital minimalism.

✨ Why It Actually Helped

Here’s what I noticed:

✔️ My phone feels cleaner

✔️ I think less — the AI thinks for me

✔️ I get more done with less tapping

✔️ My brain isn’t overloaded with 5 different notifications

And most importantly — I feel more in control of my day.

🗣️ Real Talk

You don’t need to install 20 productivity apps. You just need one smart one that understands how your brain works.
I’m not saying Notion AI is the only one but it worked for me. If you feel overwhelmed with apps and tasks, maybe give it a try. You might end up uninstalling more than just apps — maybe even some stress too.
